Pitío is a tribute to perseverance, the Antinori family has dedicated over 20 years of research and development in the Upper Maipo Valley, renewing and strengthening their conviction that this extraordinary terroir possesses immense potential.
The wine’s name celebrates a unique and characteristic native bird species, the Chilean flicker, a small woodpecker that is one of the most tenacious and persevering animals in nature. The name Pitío was the Mapuche nickname for this small bird “pütiw”, a name that mimics its distinctive call.
Albis
ANDES MAIPO VALLEY
Symbol of tradition and innotavion representing the union of two cultures. Albis is the property’s icon wine, a wine with great personality and elegance. Its vineyards were planted in 1992 in the upper part of the Maipo Valley and its plots are constantly selected to obtain excellent flavors from each of its varieties, full maturity and thus the best quality of grapes.
Galantas
CABERNET FRANC
Galantas is produced from our organic vineyards in the Maipo Valley, in order to faithfully represent the Cabernet Franc of this territory along with a small percentage of Carménère. A wine capable of expressing the vibrant elegance and finesse of Cabernet in this unique terroir.
Ecràl
CARMÉNÈRE
Ecràl is the full expression of our organic Carménère vineyards in the Maipo Valley. A wine with an exceptional finesse, with notes of black fruits and spices. Generous and persistent on the palate, this wine has an excellent freshness with soft elegant tannins.
Hussonet
CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Hussonet recalls the name of one of the most famous foals in Chilean horse racing. It is an elegant and charming wine with great territorial identity. The vineyards are located in the prestigious Maipo Valley, ideal for the production of high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months and then 12 months in the bottle.
Albaclara
SAUVIGNON BLANC
Sauvignon Blanc, a grape variety with an important personality, fully expresses itself in the world’s selected areas of real election, among which are traditionally noted the Loire river valley, New Zealand and Friuli and, in more recent times, in Chile, specially the coastal zone of Leyda. Its name is inspired by the splendid dawns which rise over its vineyards. Albaclara is a pure Sauvignon Blanc, whose grapes are hand-picked in the vineyards of Leyda.
Haras De Pirque
CHARDONNAY
100% Chardonnay. The wine reflects the potential of this variety from the Casablanca Valley. It expresses the harmony of citrus fruits with delicate notes and nuts delivered by the light aging in barrels. The balance between freshness and minerality results in a long and elegant finish.
