Sustainable production facility
Several projects have been developed and implemented with the objective of creating a socially responsible and environmentally friendly production facility that contributes to the well-being of the community and the surrounding environment.
Organic viticulture and certification
One of the most important projects is the adoption of organic farming principals in the vineyards. In 2006, Haras de Pirque began the process of transitioning to organic viticulture for the vineyards located in the Maipo region, successfully completed in 2016. Presently, all Haras de Pirque red wines are organic, certified by the CERES Institute, which requires that only environmentally friendly products are used in all production processes.
